Talks

We are delighted to welcome Ven. Ani Losang Palmo for a White Tara Retreat The event kicks off with a public talk on Thursday evening. Last-minute participants can also register for the retreat following the talk.

We all want to be well, to be able to live out our values such as compassion, patience and loving relationships, and yet all too often we seem unable to do so.

White Tara is one of the most well-known manifestations of enlightened consciousness. She is one of the three long-life Buddhas in Tibetan Buddhism. Her seven eyes represent supreme consciousness and her ability to recognise suffering. In addition to long life, she also symbolises transcendent wisdom, perfect purity and protection. She is therefore also practised in cases of life obstacles or serious illnesses.

Bhavana is Buddha's call to cultivate the mind.

Through this threefold practice, we accustom ourselves to a wholesome way of life.
